Your broker connection is read-only. QuantWheel never sees your password and cannot place trades. Here is exactly how that works.
Read-only connection
QuantWheel connects to your broker in read-only mode. It can see your holdings, positions, and history so it can show your real portfolio, cost basis, and journal. That is all the access it needs.
We never see your password
Broker connections run through SnapTrade, a regulated brokerage data provider. You authenticate on your broker's or SnapTrade's secure screen. Your broker credentials are never entered into or stored by QuantWheel.
We cannot place trades
QuantWheel cannot buy, sell, roll, or move anything in your account. There is no trade execution permission on the connection. You stay in full control of every trade in your own broker.
Your data, handled carefully
Portfolio data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. We use it to power your dashboard and journal, not to sell to third parties. You can disconnect your broker at any time.
